Are you familiar with Adobe Acrobat? It is a software application that is primarily used to create and view Portable Document Format (PDF) documents. It was created by Adobe Systems in order to provide a platform for publishers and businesses to share their content with others. The latest version of Acrobat, Acrobat 9, is the only version available that can be installed on smartphones and tablets. Adobe released its new product called Acrobat Reader DC in 2018, which is designed for smartphones and tablets. This means it can be used on devices such as smart TVs and computers without installing the third-party software on your computer or device. As of 2018, Acrobat Reader DC is available only to the Enterprise edition customers. There is also a free version for individual users called Acrobat Reader DC Free, which is compatible with mobile devices running iOS, macOS and Android operating systems. While creating a PDF file, one can choose from four viewing options:Depending on the view settings of Acrobat 9 Pro, the document will look at its best in Windows View or Mac OS X view. Opening an existing document will automatically choose which view settings to use. The document will open in the same view settings as it was saved. The program can also be used to edit documents and create forms and other media to go with the document. Users can also make annotations using Acrobat 9 Pro, which can either be printed or saved as part of the document itself. This is done by using a stylus, a mouse or even a graphics pen. However, if you are not near your computer when you need to make notes, you can use Acrobat Connect, which is a free online tool that allows users to make annotations on documents from any device through the Internet. Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro was released on 20 October 2009. It included a number of new features to the PDF format, including the ability to fill out and save forms as PDF files. This allows you to create professional-looking PDF forms for your website. The program also contained a number of security improvements to prevent users from inserting malicious software into documents. There was also support for viewing and printing Microsoft Office 2010 file formats. Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro is not compatible with Macintosh Operating Systems below Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8). Before version 9, Acrobat Reader for Mac was called Acrobat Reader DC Classic (for OSX 10.5 - 10.7). Acrobat Reader DC Classic does still exist, but is no longer being updated, so Adobe recommends using PDF Expert instead. Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro is available in English, French, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Some features may only be available in the localized versions of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. For example, the TouchUp tools are only available in the English version of the software. Other features which are not available in all versions are Form Editing tools (available only in English), Document Search features & OCR (available only in English & Simplified Chinese), Advanced Print tool (available only in English) and Send for Mobile Printing (available only in English & Simplified Chinese). eccc085e13
